Despite the fact that he passed away three years ago, Steve Jobs is set to testify before a jury in a California court, appearing in a video he recorded in 2011, just six months before his death.
In the video, Steve Jobs provides evidence in Apple's defense of Real Networks' accusations of unfair competition by preventing the latter's software from working with iPods.
When asked why he did not allow this, the deceased states that he tried to protect the music industry from piracy. He also refutes accusations of monopolistic practices, explaining that there were other MP3 players on the market besides iPods.
The trial continues, however, with Philips Sciller and Eddy Cue set to appear in court in the coming days. It is worth noting that Real Networks is seeking $351,631,153 in damages from Apple
