Award for the EL.AS. pavilion at the 80th International Trade Fair – They won the impressions
The day before yesterday at noon, by administrative executives of the Hellenic Police Information Center (Kiosk), the Participation Award was awarded to the Hellenic Police Information Center (Kiosk), which operated within the framework of the 80th Hellenic Police Information Center.
The souvenir was received from the President of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry – HELEXPO, Mr. Anastasios Tzikas, by the General Police Director of Thessaloniki, Major General Vasilios Moysidis, as a representative of the Chief of the Hellenic Police, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Tsaknakis.
The Information Center of the Hellenic Police Force, which was inaugurated last Saturday (05-09-2015), welcomed over 35,000 visitors.
It is noted that visitors had the opportunity to learn about the actions of the Hellenic Police and to get to know firsthand the innovative actions platform "Feelsafe", of the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate, in an effort to raise awareness among entrepreneurs, merchants and consumers regarding safe online shopping and commercial transactions.
At the same time, a Traffic Education Park was installed and operated outside the pavilion, under the supervision of specialized police officers from the Thessaloniki Traffic Police Directorate.
The Park constitutes a comprehensive educational unit, which aims to familiarize preschool and school-age children with the basic principles and rules that govern pedestrian and driver traffic.
Now, on a daily basis, outside the pavilion, there were two-wheeled police officers from the “Z” group and police officers performing on-board patrol duty using electric bicycles, who provided all information relevant to their mission to visitors to the D.E.T. premises.
The operation of the Hellenic Police Information Center was completed on Sunday 13-09-2015, with the end of the 80th International Police Conference.
