British spy agency GCHQ is hiring hackers

The British spy agency GCHQ has published its first open recruitment notice for hackers. Hackers in a few simple words (and not the sophisticated ones mentioned in the notice) are needed to develop malware, and breach systems to intercept data.

Legal illegals, that is, the well-known style of the NSA, but also of every intelligence service.

The hackers who will work for the service are to help "detect and prevent attacks on critical national infrastructure, or to defend government systems against criminals seeking to steal information, identities or money."

But let's see what happened:

In a statement released on Tuesday, the intelligence agency GCHQ said it was looking for computer specialists who "may be needed to develop software to help access terrorist group computers, or to carry out work to retrieve vital clues relating to the location and identity of members of organised crime," the notice said.

The hackers who will work for the service are to help “detect and prevent attacks on critical national infrastructure, or to defend government systems against criminals seeking to steal information, identities or money.”
The news comes just months after the leak of documents by Edward Snowden that detailed how extensive the malware development network is by the UK intelligence agency. We mention this for those who believed that after the Snowden leaks, the prevailing situation would automatically change… and from their couch.

Successful candidates will sign a top-secret contract, and will begin work at a starting salary of $43,700 .

If you think you have the qualifications and are interested in a job of this type, you can send your resume.
