Corallia with four of the most innovative Greek companies
at TAU Innovation Week in Israel
Tel Aviv, 06.05.2015: Corallia, with the support of the Israeli Embassy in Athens and the Tel Aviv University Entrepreneurship Center StarTAU, is intensifying its actions to connect the Greek and Israeli startup scene and will accompany four of the most innovative Greek companies to this year's international week of innovation and entrepreneurship, TAU Innovation Week, taking place in Tel Aviv, May 7-10.
The Greek delegation consists of the companies Owiwi, Simple Apps, Meazon, Irida Labs, members of the gi, mi and si clusters, who will compete in the Tel Aviv Startup Challenge, exhibit their products at Startup Avenue in a specially designed Greek pavilion, attend practical seminars by international speakers and meet investors and potential clients to seek investment.
Corallia has also scheduled important meetings with high-ranking executives in Israel to showcase the Greek innovation ecosystem in order to lay the foundation for future collaborations and investments in our country. It is noted that two significant strategic investments by Israeli companies in Greek startups (Elxys Innovations, Antcor) of the mi-Cluster have already been completed.
The Greek mission is being organized following the visit of Israeli guru Oren Simanian, founder of StartTAU, to the InnoHubs managed by Corallia in Athens and Patras a few weeks ago.
TAU Innovation Week is an initiative of StarTAU and the Ramot Technology Dissemination Office. The core of the events is the conference aimed at the international start-up ecosystem with representatives of businesses, investors, academic and research organizations. The TAU InnovationConference is expected to be attended by over 3,500 participants.
