New app: Windows 10 Mail and Calendar
A new Windows 10 distribution has been released, which includes new calendar and email applications.
The new Windows 10 distribution is 10051, which brings some changes in terms of productivity. Specifically, in the updated Windows 10, which are still in the testing stage in view of their official release, which is scheduled for the summer of 2015, one can see the new calendar applications with the new Windows 10 Mail app, but also the calendar with the Windows 10 Calendar app.
According to The Verge, the new apps are significantly improved over what we were used to in Windows 8.1, where the corresponding apps existed, while on touch-screen devices they will be even more comfortable to use, as there will be full support for swipe gestures. The Windows 10 Mail app will also support multiple user accounts.
The Calendar app for Windows 10 will have full support for Google Calendar, unlike what happened in Windows 8.1, while the Calendar app for Windows 10 will be fully integrated with Office. It will also be easy to integrate email contacts into all versions of the new Windows 10 apps.
