A new survey by GlobalWebIndex reinforces our view that Social Media has entered our lives for good. After all, that's why Social Media Life was created in the first place, to keep up with developments and utilize Social Networks, messengers and everything else that belongs to the Social Media space, in the best possible way.
GlobalWebIndex reports in its research that the average internet user has 5.54 Social Media accounts, while being active on about half of them, that is, 2.8. This means that users try, but do not adopt everything they try, which sounds logical.
Of particular interest is the age group 16-24 and 25-34. The first age group has the most social media accounts (6.6), while the second age group is the most active (4.2). This suggests that while younger people may be experimenting more, the next generation is adopting more social media accounts, which may be due to the use of LinkedIn, a professional social network that the very young tend to avoid.
