Last week, Apple increased the selling prices of its products in Russia by 20%, as the "wheel" in the ruble-dollar exchange rate made buying its products in Russia clearly more advantageous than in any other European country.
For its part, Russia's central bank announced today that it has spent about $2 billion in an effort to intervene (by buying foreign exchange) to stop the "disorderly decline" of the ruble.
