For the first time, high-resolution cameras entered the interior of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, recording the works of art and collections found in these spaces.
The recorded footage will be projected in 3D in the film titled "The Vatican Museums 3D", giving the public the opportunity to enjoy the amazing works of art that are housed.
The film was made by a team of 40 people who "explored" the entire length and breadth of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, where some of the rarest and most amazing works of art, famous paintings and statues are exhibited.
