The new app update leaves no room for excuses
This is because according to the latest update of the application – which belongs to Facebook– every time you look at what someone has sent you, two blue checkmarks appear, which "reveal" to the sender that the recipient has not only received the message, but has also read it.
Before this latest update, there were two different signs – a single gray “tick,” which meant the message was sent successfully, and a double one, which meant the message was received.
When the double check mark turns blue, it means the recipient has read the message.
In fact, if anyone wants to see what time the messages were read, they can do so by clicking on a specific message and selecting the "Message Info" option.
The latest update applies to iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Nokia S40, Nokia S60, and BlackBerry 10 devices.
