With the help of photovoltaics, the eTree can charge, illuminate, connect to the internet and quench the thirst of people and four-legged friends!
Trees play an important role in our lives and it seems that they are going to play an even bigger role with the help of the Israeli company sologic, which created the tree of the 21st century. Only instead of photosynthesising and producing oxygen, it generates electricity from the sun and thus reduces CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
The eTree is an impressive tree no matter how you look at it. It has a trunk but instead of leaves it has photovoltaics. The result is that it ultimately offers shade and much more.
Such as internet via WiFi, charging of mobile devices via USB ports, water for people and their four-legged friends, and light at night.
All of the above happens in a closed circuit as the tree activates all its functions without needing to be connected to the electricity grid!
It may be too advanced for a tree, but we like it! And the fact that it doesn't need to be connected to… anything makes it even more beautiful. Oh! Let's not forget, it's not threatened by fires either.
