Twenty scholarships of twenty thousand euros and thirty honorary distinctions of three thousand euros each, for first-year students, are being announced this year by OTE and COSMOTE.
For the thirteenth consecutive year, they continue to support young students to overcome financial difficulties and focus on their studies. This year, the two companies have increased the number of honors and the amount corresponding to each of them.
The OTE-COSMOTE Scholarship Program 2014 is aimed at first-year students in Greece who face financial and social difficulties in pursuing their studies.
The main criterion for candidates to participate in the program is that they study at Higher Education Institutions of the University Sector, with a general level of access to higher education of at least 16 or above.
Applications are submitted exclusively through the website www.ote-cosmote-scholarships.gr, where participants will be able to submit their application and the required supporting documents electronically, until October 20, 2014 at 17:00.
The detailed announcement, which is posted on the program's website, describes the terms, conditions and supporting documents required for participation in the Program.
The OTE-COSMOTE Scholarships have been implemented since 2002, and to date, a total of 146 scholarships and 283 honorary distinctions have been awarded, the value of which exceeds 2.4 million euros.
This is a very important institution that is part of the broader Corporate Responsibility Program implemented by the two companies, for which more information can be found at https://www.ote-cosmote-cr2013.gr.
