Notification system in the logo appears to be wanted by Apple
Another case of the alleged back of the iPhone 6 leaked today, leaving open the possibility that the Apple logo on the rear could become illuminated for use as a notification system.
uSwitch Tech reports today that these photos are of a «market-ready» case that reached their hands with the help of the now well‑known Australian Sonny Dickson, who is an authority on Apple product leaks.
Earlier back designs that had leaked so far showed that the Apple logo was embossed on the exterior of the device. However, in these photos it appears to be part of a plastic panel that is inserted internally via a slot.
Even though many users would like the above rumor to become reality and the logo to light up as part of iPhone notifications, there is always the possibility that this change is due to an attempt by Apple to improve the device's radio signals for better signal coverage.
