Bugcrowd, the company that offers a bugbountythat brings together companies willing to pay security researchers who find serious software vulnerabilities, is offering a new pricing model.
According to Bugcrowd CEO Casey Ellis, the “flex” pricing model is based on the idea that customers will share the code they want to be examined for potential vulnerabilities with researchers, and the researchers who find the bugs will share the reward as a percentage of the total number.
The program «flex» increases the settings for other types of bug research, such as the monthly fees for using the Bugcrowd platform, which brings together thousands of security researchers who claim they have discovered serious vulnerabilities that clients may be willing to pay for.
