The American technology and internet company, Google, has introduced its new health information collection platform called Google Fit.
The information recorded on this platform comes from "smart" devices such as smartwatches, smartphones, fitness bands and other wearable devices.
Similar services are provided by both Apple (HealthKit) and Samsung (S Health).
Google's goal is to provide its users with complete control over their heart rate and blood pressure, without requiring a visit to a doctor.
