As it turns out, criminality and being extremely active on social media don't exactly go hand in hand, and 26-year-old Nicholas Wig from Minnesota, USA, proves it.
So, the media is reporting that the man is now behind bars, and this, in some strange way, happened because of the social networking service Facebook.
ABC News reports that 26-year-old Nicholas Wig was arrested after he decided to take a break during a home robbery to check his Facebook account but forgot to log out.
According to the same source, the house the robber broke into belongs to James Wood, who says cash, a checkbook, some credit cards and a watch were stolen.
In cooperation with the police, the victim decided to take a look at the robber's Facebook, where he paid closer attention to the robber's facial features.
The robber was of course arrested and remanded in custody, after he confessed his guilt and returned the stolen goods to the victim.
