BitTorrent Bundle is a new torrent formatthat, in addition to the free material it contains, also functions as a way for creators to share their work themselves.
The BitTorrent announced that the Bundle in its first 13 months of operation had 100 million material transfers, while on average in 24 hours, a typical Bundle has 554 thousand impressions, 167 thousand downloads and more than 16 thousand streams.
The BitTorrent Bundle is characterized as an evolution of the torrent file. The user downloads the Bundle, which not only contains free material, but also provides access to premium material, with access to this material remaining with its creator.
Essentially what it does is give creators greater control over how their work is shared and sold.
It seems that this move by BitTorrent had an impact, and as everything shows, the company is being led to safer and more legal paths.
