Google has released an updated version of YouTube for Android, which comes with some new features, in addition to the usual bug fixes and improvements.
The updated version adds a new feature, allowing users to choose the quality level of videos during playback.
The setting is now done manually and includes various levels of video quality, unlike previously where users could only choose between HD/HQ and off.
There is also the "Auto quality" function, which automatically selects the best resolution for a video.
You can download YouTube 5.7 for Android for free via the Google Play Store. Please note that the app should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 or later.
