With all the talk of the supposed flaw with the "Google Glass" image, it's easy to forget that technology can enable some wonderful things.
As proof, you can see a children's hospital in Houston, which uses Google Glass to make sick children happy.
Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital in Houston recently gave some children who are unable to leave the hospital the opportunity to virtually "visit" the Houston Zoo with Google Glass.
The program is taking place for the first time in the United States. The children wear Google Glass and participate in a ” “double Glass Hangout” with the staff at the zoo.
This allows children not only to “visit” the zoo, but also to take a close look at the animals.
The Houston Zoo joined the Google Glass Explorer program last summer.
