The vast majority (83%) of promiscuous men and women communicate with their illicit relationship mainly via mobile phone
51% of unfaithful people who communicate with their lovers via mobile use applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter, followed by text messages (15%), phone calls (13.6%), emails (9.8%), some other application (8.6%) and voicemail messages (2%).
These are the results of an international survey conducted by the extramarital dating site Victoria Milan for married and committed people. As also shown by the responses of 12,500 unmarried spouses and partners, most (83%) communicate with their lovers via mobile phone.
Most of the unfaithful people surveyed use their regular phone number to contact their illicit relationship. However, 15% have an additional secret SIM card to keep their mobile number hidden. 74% have a contract rather than a prepaid card, even though this is more risky, given that phone bills provide a full list of the numbers they have contacted by phone or text each month.
Mr. Sigurd Vedal, founder and CEO of Victoria Milan, commented, advising naughty spouses: "Everyone uses their mobile phones to communicate with their close circle. Just don't forget to immediately delete all text messages you send or receive from your relationship! It will help you not to be made into quarrelsome!"
