Bing launched three new Windows Phone 8 apps on Tuesday: Bing Food & Drink, Bing Health & Fitness, and Bing Travel .
In addition to the new apps, Microsoft's search engine has upgraded its existing apps for Windows Phone 8 and announced that all Bing apps will now sync across Windows 8 devices.
New lifestyle apps offer a range of tools for meal planning and tracking, health and fitness data, and travel itineraries.
Food and Drink is an extensive food and drink guide. The app has more than 600,000 recipes selected from sites like AllRecipes.com, Epicurious.com, and BonAppetit.com. For drinks, it includes a wine encyclopedia, which archives tasting notes for more than a million wines, as well as a recipe guide for popular cocktails.
Bing 's Travel app aims to help users plan and track their vacations. Users can book flights and hotels, get real-time flight information, and browse nearby attractions.
Health and Fitness is an app for maintaining good health. It features a food diary for recording and nutritional information, a cardio tracker for keeping track of your exercise routines, and a GPS tracker for recording running stats. The app also includes a symptom checker, exercise videos, and a medical encyclopedia that provides information on thousands of prescription drugs and describes hundreds of medical procedures and conditions.
