An upgrade for Viber with a small update for the Windows Phone app, allowing users to make and receive calls for free.
Unfortunately, unlike the previous major update that added many new features and improvements, this upgrade does not come with an official changelog.
This is a small update and is intended to bring some improvements, along with some minor bug fixes, but no one can confirm this.
However, WMPoweruser reports that many Viber who have upgraded to the latest version are claiming that the app is now much faster, but also has some bugs. The only known solution at this time to eliminate these bugs is for users to uninstall and reinstall the app.
You can download Viber for Windows Phone 4.0.1.0 for free from the Windows Phone Store. Please note that the app is only compatible with devices running Windows Phone 8 and above.
