A hacker attack appears to have taken place on the website of the Panhellenic Federation of Police Officers! Brazilian hackers under the name “High-Tech” , who had previously attacked Greek government websites, appear to have gained unauthorized access to the website of the Federation of Police Officers.

The Brazilian hackers appear to have placed a corrupted page on an internal link that is not directly visible from the Federation's main website. Their message has been posted [here] while we also post a featured Screenshot below:

We believe that the responsible administrators should IMMEDIATELY take the website down so that possible vulnerabilities that led the “High-Tech” Brazilian hackers to post content on the website can be checked and repaired. Furthermore, passwords of the website administrator or users may have been leaked, which means that they should be changed as well.

The website is purely informative. Consequently, does NOT appear that any personal data of website users has been compromised.
