Microsoft recently filed a lawsuit against Urbandale-based Dymin Systems for selling unlicensed copies of Windows Vista, according to a new report .
Scott Breitman, president of the PC sales business, said in a statement that he received a letter from Microsoft six months ago to stop selling refurbished computers with the Windows Vista operating system, but somehow more computers were released.
Dymin has since begun installing new Windows 7 licenses for all computers in use, Channelnomics, so Breitman hopes to settle the lawsuit.
In case you're wondering, Windows Vista currently has a market share of 3.61 percent, enough to make it the fourth-leading OS worldwide, behind Windows 7 (47.52 percent), Windows XP (28.98 percent), and Windows 8 (6.89 percent).
