Users of the cloud-based storage service, SkyDrive, soon to be renamed OneDrive, will have 20 GB of additional free storage space in their accounts, as part of a new campaign launched by Microsoft.
Neowin reports that the Redmond-based tech giant is sending out emails to select users, who it calls "valued members" of the SkyDrive, to inform them that an additional 20GB of free storage will be added to their accounts.
All SkyDrive users already get 7GB of free storage, so this new promo is clearly convenient for everyone.
Microsoft will soon rename SkyDrive to OneDrive following a trademark dispute in the UK, so the company has already begun making the necessary adjustments to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.
