Do you see your friends on Facebook inactive and notifications and likes decreasing day by day? Don't worry, your friends aren't bored with you, they're just not seeing your updates.

There are many who have recently noticed a dramatic decrease in the interaction of their posts on Facebook. Whether it is individuals or business pages, the impact has dropped noticeably, with most wondering what is causing this.

According to doctv.gr, now when we do not actively interact (comment, share, like) with a user, then he disappears from our updates. If we are talking about pages, they disappear from our feed. The average user has liked 40 pages. However, they disappear if these pages do not pay for their promotion. In general, we no longer see those that we do not like. but neither do those that we do like.

Even if pages pay for advertising, they are facing a decline in their visibility and the "crowd" they are targeting - over the last year, the number has been gradually and dramatically decreasing.

As reported by the Huffington Post, Facebook's official response is that the greater the volume of users and the content they produce, the more difficult it becomes for posts to make it into our feed.

In the video below, Derek Muller explains, among other things, that the newsfeed cuts are part of Facebook's broader strategy to generate revenue. In short: Facebook is not sharing the content of our page with our friends so that we can pay to promote it. That is, we all become advertisers of our page or our lives, instead of sharing and interacting.
