Apple's annual WWDC developer conference is now over, but we have a lot more to look forward to by the end of the year and into next year
In the Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman listed about 20 products that Apple is expected to release in the near future.
Now that the smarter, more personal version of Siri has finally reached beta, we should start seeing some new devices that had been delayed until the new Siri was ready.
Beyond the usual annual updates to iPhones and Apple Watches in September, Gurman said Apple's all-new smart home automation hub could arrive this year. He also expects a foldable iPhone Ultra and long-awaited updates to the Apple TV and HomePod mini. And a redesigned MacBook Ultra with an OLED display is expected by early next year.

Apple: What can we expect in 2027?
According to Gurman and other sources, by the end of 2027 we can expect the following products from Apple:
iPhones
- iPhone 18 Pro: A20 Pro chip, smaller Dynamic Island, simplified camera control button, Dark Cherry color option, variable aperture for at least one rear camera, Apple's C2 modem with support for 5G internet browsing via satellite, and more.
- iPhone 18 Pro Max: Same features rumored for the iPhone 18 Pro, but the Pro Max model may be slightly thicker.
- iPhone Ultra: A foldable iPhone Ultra with a 7.7-inch internal display and a 5.3-inch external display, dual rear cameras, one front-facing camera, Touch ID power button instead of Face ID, and more.
- iPhone Air 2: Adds Ultra Wide camera, A20 chip, and longer battery life.
- iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max: Apple's 20th anniversary iPhone models are rumored to feature a "nearly edge-to-edge display" with "curved glass surrounding the sides."

Macs
- MacBook Ultra: A major redesign of the MacBook Pro in late 2026 or early 2027, with M6 Pro and M6 Max chips, OLED display, touchscreen, Dynamic Island, and a thinner design.
- Mac Studio: M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips → M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips.
- Mac mini: M4 and M4 Pro chips → M5 and M5 Pro chips.
- iMac: M4 chip → M5 chip, plus new color options.
iPads
- iPad 12: A16 chip → A18 or A19 chip with Apple Intelligence support.
- iPad mini: A17 Pro chip → A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, OLED display, vibration-based speaker system, and water-resistant design.
Apple Watch
- Apple Watch Series 12: Faster S11 chip or newer, as well as design changes like Touch ID and/or more health sensors (questionable).
Apple Watch Ultra 4: Faster S11 or newer chip, plus design changes like Touch ID and/or more health sensors (questionable). There may also be additional satellite features for Apple Watch Ultra 3 and newer.
Home, AirPods, Smart Glasses
- Apple TV: A17 Pro chip with support for the more personal Siri and Apple's N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support. A built-in FaceTime camera has been rumored for a future Apple TV, but it's unclear whether it will arrive with the next model.
- AirPods Ultra: AirPods with cameras for Siri AI/Visual Intelligence.
- HomePod: A new full-size HomePod that supports the new Siri.
- HomePod mini: S9 chip or later with support for the more personal Siri, Apple's N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support, improved sound quality, second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, and possibly new color options like red.
- Home Hub: An all-new smart home automation hub with the most personal version of Siri, a 6- to 7-inch square display, the A18 chip for Apple Intelligence, FaceTime and more. Place it on a table or mount it on a wall.
- Apple Glasses: Apple is rumored to be designing smart glasses with oval-shaped cameras, custom frame designs, and more.

Although WWDC 2026 is over, Apple is entering one of the most ambitious periods in its history. The gradual integration of the new, more personal Siri and Apple Intelligence features seems to be acting as a catalyst for a new wave of devices, ranging from foldable iPhones and redesigned Macs to smart glasses and advanced home automation systems. The company is no longer limited to annual product upgrades, but is attempting to create an even more connected and intelligent ecosystem.
The next two years are expected to be crucial for Apple's strategy. If the information is confirmed, the company will attempt to redefine product categories in which it has so far moved more conservatively, such as foldable devices and wearable AI gadgets. The big bet, however, will not only be the presentation of new hardware, but Apple's ability to transform artificial intelligence into a truly useful and invisible experience for the user, essentially opening the next chapter of the digital age.
