Google has just released a new version of its email client for Android devices, which features new features and improvements that will boost Gmail's overall performance.
Lucky users of Android devices running the 4.4 KitKat platform will be happy to know that Google has added support for printing copies of emails, directly from within the app.
There is also a new feature to automatically send messages when the user is on vacation, which allows users to create or update an auto-reply message in the Gmail app for Android.
Another major new feature is the ability to attach any file type to an email, including .Zip, PDF, and doc files. Finally, Google has made some changes that will improve the app's performance on low-memory devices as part of Project Svelte.
