Samsung tries to silence user whose S4 caught fire

Poor Samsung... you're trying to download a video from YouTube after the presentation of a Galaxy S4 that caught fire while charging, but this is going to "launch" the PR and legal teams after sending a "hush" document to the user.

As for the deal, YouTube user GhostlyRich posted a video to YouTube in early December showing his Samsung Galaxy S4 catching fire while charging. While the battery didn't explode (thankfully), you can clearly see the charging port burning. The resulting burn rendered the device useless, and seeing as his phone is still under warranty, you'd think Samsung would just exchange the device and please the consumer by fixing the problem.

Wrong. Instead, Samsungfoolishly sent the user a document saying they would only exchange their faulty device if they deleted the video from YouTube. If Samsung didn't know how the Internet works, they would find that trying to calm the user down could lead to a "black mark" for the company.
