A new survey conducted by PBS Kids in November shows that American parents will choose tabletswhen it comes to buying Christmas gifts for their children.
The survey was conducted among 1,000 American parents with children between the ages of 2 and 10. It turns out that 54% of parents plan to buy a tech gadget to put under the Christmas tree this winter.
Younger parents are more likely to choose tech gifts. 59% of parents between the ages of 18 and 34 said they plan to “make a tech gift purchase” this winter.
Of those choosing a tech gift, 28% of parents will choose a tablet, while 18% will buy a video game console. Along with tablets, parents will buy educational apps and games so children can play and learn with family and loved ones.
