A Singapore court has denied bail to a man accused of hacking the prime minister's website using the symbol of the international hacker group Anonymous.

James Raj from Singapore is accused by Malaysia of carrying out a hacking attack on the Ang Mo Kio website on November 12, where he shared the image of the Guy Fawkes mask used by Anonymous.

The alleged breach was part of a series of cyberattacks that also targeted the websites of Prime Minister Lee and President Tony Tan, as well as pro-government media outlets, in a show of protest for internet freedom.
