Shadow Defender is a piece of virtualization software that allows users to test applications without putting their computers at risk.
Shadow Defender has a simple user interface and is quite easy to use. You can use it to protect a specific partition, but it also gives you the ability to keep certain files, folders or registry entries out of the protection mode.
If you want to install an application that you don't trust 100%, you can enable protection and continue with the installation without worrying about unwanted changes that could be made to your computer.
After reboot, everything will return to normal.
