Driving directions, advice on speed, distance, sharp turns are some of the features offered by the free iPhone application, which turns the car's windshield into a satellite navigation plate... It is designed for driving at night and in dangerous weather conditions, when visibility is reduced and the driver needs help, which is why the application promises safer driving, as published by the Daily Mail.
The program uses the smartphone as a projector and receives data from the application, which it then projects onto the entire windshield of the car, making it easier for the driver to not look down while driving but up at his window.
The Russian company that presented it stated that to use the application, which anyone can download completely free of charge, no internet connection is required for the duration of the trip during which instructions will be necessary. Users only need to define their route and "load" a Google map in advance before starting their journey.
The Hudway app allows users to save their routes and share them with their friends, while an Android version is expected in February 2014.
