The installation of the first Bitcoin ATM took place in a coffee shop in Vancouver, Canada, with crowds lining up behind the machine to use it. Behind the installation is the company Bitcoiniacs, which plans to install five more machines in Canada.
The ATM scans the user's hand to verify their identity and allows them to make transactions from Bitcoins to cash or vice versa. Transactions have a daily limit of $1000.
