Taiwan warns governments about Huawei

Taiwan's intelligence agency does not want government agencies to use Huawei and has said the Chinese supplier should be banned from official tenders because it poses a security risk.

According to the Taipei Times, National Security Office director Tsai Der-Sheng issued the warning during a meeting of the parliament's foreign affairs and national defense committees.

Tsai reportedly told the committee: “This is our policy now. The NSB has banned the use of Huawei and thinks that government offices should not use the company’s products.”
