Microsoft has released an updated version of Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 8.1, fixing a number of bugs that were found in the latest version of the browser.
Redmond didn't provide many details about the bugs and fixes made, while the upgraded version will be made available to Windows 8.1 users via Windows Update, which means no user interaction is required.
According to Microsoft, the update is available for Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 Enterprise, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter, Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials, Windows Server 2012 R2 Foundation, and Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.
Internet Explorer 11 is the default browser in Windows 8, but Microsoft has promised to bring the browser to Windows 7 in the coming months.
