Here are the selfie photos

A new study has revealed that the number one annoying habit of internet and social media users is… meaningless Facebook statuses. In fact, it's the habit everyone would like their online friends to break.

The study found that almost four in ten Britons want to stop seeing the "garbage" that their friends, acquaintances and even family members write on their social networking page.

Almost a quarter also want to stop seeing selfies in their news feed! The strange thing is that those who take the most photos of themselves are men, who take twice as many selfies as female users.

But it's not just the internet that Britons are hoping will change their friends and colleagues' habits.

35% can't stand hearing those around them use the word "like" – the British "cheese".

23% cringe when they hear people around them "crack" their joints and 28% are disgusted when they see someone biting their nails.
