While the release date is quite later this year, leaks continue to reveal Samsung's plans for the Galaxy S26 series. In the latest leak, we get a better look at the hardware and how the design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra changes.

Images and a short video posted by @OnLeaks show what appear to be Galaxy S26 Ultra models. The models aren't activated, but they give us a pretty good idea of what to expect from the hardware.

The overall shape of the Ultra looks almost identical to last year's Galaxy S25 Ultra with its rounded corners, but this time the camera module has been updated with a design reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold 7's camera bump. The three main lenses sit on a small raised island above the rest of the back of the device.
It’s pretty obvious that an existing problem is about to get worse. As many have noted in recent years, Samsung’s design choice to place the camera bump on the far left of the device leads to the entire device shaking on a table. This feature is not uncommon in smartphones, but the dual-raised bump on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 makes it even more frustrating.

Samsung's choice to extend this feature to the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the rest of the lineup means we'll likely see this problem worsen in the new generation. The reason for the larger camera bump is likely due to the thinner chassis Samsung is supposedly building this year.
This problem is largely solved with a case of the right thickness. However, for those who want to use the device without a case, with a skin, or simply want a thin case on an already large phone, Samsung's design is an annoyance unless you're holding the device all the time. Will this be a deterrent to buying it? Probably not, but it's definitely an annoying little quirk.
