In a post on Weibo on Wednesday, serial tipster Instant Digital claims that the iPad mini will be the first non-Pro iPad to feature OLED. However, they say there is no sign of any movement for an iPad Air with OLED. The move to OLED displays has become a major trend in display technology, with Apple being one of the companies to embrace the change. OLED displays offer better image quality, with more vibrant colors and deeper blacks, making them particularly attractive to users looking for the best possible viewing experience.

Apple has already introduced OLED displays to its iPhone and MacBook Pro lineups, and extending the technology to iPads seems like the next logical step. Using OLED displays on iPads can also help reduce power consumption, which is important for portable devices. OLED technology allows individual pixels to be turned off, which can reduce power consumption when displaying dark images or videos. This can lead to longer battery life, which is always a welcome addition for portable users.

The move to OLED may also increase production costs, but Apple is known for its ability to manage its supply chains efficiently, which can help keep prices reasonable. With OLED technology continuing to evolve, chances are the iPad mini with OLED will offer a user experience that will satisfy even the most demanding users.
