You don't have to be a scientist or very knowledgeable about the mobile industry to correctly predict the availability plans for Samsung's Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra , since the Galaxy S24 received a permanent price cut last month and the two larger phones did not.

In the face of the apparent cancellation of the beloved Galaxy S24 Ultra, the slightly less popular Galaxy S24 Plus is sold out in all models and variants on its manufacturer's official US website, and the chances of last year's powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 6.7-inch model being sold again are slim.
As with the S24 Ultra, Samsung hasn’t technically confirmed that the Galaxy S24 Plus has been discontinued. In fact, the world’s second-largest smartphone hasn’t mentioned any members of the S24 family in any press releases or blog posts since the Galaxy S25 series launched in January, leaving us to discover the $100 discount on the 6.2-inch model for ourselves.

Those who have been following online store for all the moves regarding the availability of the S24+ these past few weeks, and since the phone was reduced to just a few variants that were in stock at the time of the Galaxy S24 Ultra's withdrawal, can now essentially consider it "dead" as well.
It's hard to imagine what the point of a Galaxy S24 Plus revival would be when the new Galaxy S25 Plus is obviously superior and at the same price of $999.99 in a base 256GB storage configuration. Even better, the improved 6.7-inch version is currently on sale for $849.99 with 256 giga of local digital storage and $849.99 in a 512GB as well.

For now, of course, this is just idle speculation, but we'll let you know if we notice any changes in stock (or any discounts) for the S24. In the meantime, you should definitely consider ordering the new Galaxy S25 at its lowest price yet.
