Google has updated the description of a Chrome security feature , “ Enhanced protection ,” and now says it will be powered by AI in a future version .

It looks like Google has also updated the Tab search bubble in Chrome Canary. Previously, the option was called Group tabs with a suggestion to “Check for suggestions.” Now, it’s called Group tabs with AI and it helps users organize their tabs using AI.

Similarly, the Close unused tabs option has been renamed to Review inactive tabs . Instead of simply closing tabs, the new feature allows users to review tabs that have been inactive for 7 days or more.
Google is still testing these “AI” changes in Chrome Canary, and we don’t know when they will start rolling out to all users.
