No Man's Sky is an open-world, science fiction game developed by Hello Games. It was released in 2016 and offers a nearly limitless exploration process in a galaxy filled with countless planets, each with unique ecosystems, creatures, and natural phenomena.
Players can explore, gather resources, build bases, upgrade spaceships, and interact with other players. The game has received numerous updates since its release, adding new features, missions, and content that have significantly improved the experience. No Man's Sky stands out for its openness and vastness, as well as for its exploration of themes of loneliness and discovery in space.
After September's fishing update, No Man's Sky developer Hello Games is turning to something a little more terrifying this month. The result? "The Cursed."

A scary title update, right? Well, it gets even scarier from here on out. 'The Cursed' will see you explore a strange universe filled with strange creatures and voices. Some of these fantastical beings will be willing to watch you as you pass by, while others will be less forgiving, resulting in the first Boss fights against your new enemies.
It's up to you whether you follow the advice of the haunting voices, but without hyperspeed technology, you won't be able to get anywhere fast. There's a new UFO-style Boundary StarShip to keep you safe as you explore the mysterious universe, and you can get it as a reward (along with bioluminescent pets and a Cthulhu-inspired exoskeleton horror suit) if you're brave enough to play.
This event is expected to start today and run for the next few weeks — although previous updates have taken a little longer to reach the Switch, so expect it in the coming days.
