Compatible with ISO 22398 standards, OpenBAS is designed as a modern web application that offers a user-friendly interface and a RESTful API.

The platform features a variety of modules – such as scenarios, team management, simulations, communication verification and encryption – offering benefits such as collaborative workflows, real-time monitoring, detailed analysis and effective feedback management.

“OpenBAS is distinguished by its ability to simulate every aspect of an incident, not just the technical part. With OpenBAS, you can also simulate context-based situations, such as questions from journalists about an attack or a call from the CEO requesting immediate results, and much more,” Jean-Philippe Salles, Vice President of Product Management at Filigran, told Help Net Security.

“With OpenBAS, we aim to help cybersecurity teams answer the question, ‘Are we ready to address these threats ?’” Our goal is to enable you to create the most accurate simulations, both technically and in their application context.

For this reason, we will add the ability to simulate more detailed technical events, combining their results to create more complex scenarios. This will enhance the ability to collect data for prevention, detection and human response to these events, allowing a more comprehensive assessment of the organization's security,” said Salles.
