A Fortnite Progress Error is preventing players from redeeming Battle Pass rewards, and players are wondering how this happened.

As a way to encourage players to continue leveling up even after the battle pass ends, Fortnite has implemented "bonus" battle pass rewards.
Each reward page adds something new to the characters from the main battle pass. As the pages progress, so does the complexity of the rewards.
However, due to a recently discovered glitch, players will not be able to progress to any of the rewards within the battle pass. This is because the game appears to not take into account week 0 – week 3 missions.

“Currently the first page of bonus quests is not accessible to people who have already completed week 0-3 quests as progress is not recorded until the bonus quest rewards are active. The same issue will occur with page 2 and page 3 unless Epic Games fixes this before launch.“
When it was revealed that the rewards couldn't be redeemed, those in the comments began pointing out the problems Chapter 5 Season 2.
“I notice that this whole season has just been a disaster… from the almost one day wait, to the rewards that can't be obtained right now. To the unnecessary exp we get this season that doesn't give us any full level. It's really sad.” said one user.

Some agreed, others disagreed, while others are confused about how small problems like these could happen.
Some commenters even wondered if Epic Games had tested these features before their release.
Fortnite still hasn't addressed the issues with leveling up or earning bonus rewards. This means players will have to put up with them for the foreseeable future or until the next update.
