HP is introducing several new Chromebook models for 2024 this week , with prices starting at $299 .

Available from today ONLY at US retailers, unfortunately for us in Greece, the company is releasing four new laptops for 2024, including two in the Chromebook Plus program.
The series starts with the HP Chromebook 14a.
This device, which starts at $299, features a 14-inch 1366×768 display with an Intel N100 processor and 4GB of RAM. It's a basic device, but it does have USB-C charging and dual speakers.

The Plus 14a features an Intel Core i3-N305 processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of UFS storage, and a better display than the cheaper model. The display is still 14 inches, but at 1080p and 300 nits of brightness, compared to the 250 nits of the cheaper model. Pricing for this starts at $529.
Also available now is the HP Chromebook Plus X360 14b.
This laptop is almost identical to the Plus 14a, but it has a touchscreen and a 360-degree sliding unit so you can use the device as a tablet when the screen is flipped. It comes at a higher cost of $599.

Finally, there will also be a regular HP Chromebook X360 14b starting at $399.
It will have fewer specs than the Plus, but with the lower price tag to boot. HP says this electronic device will be available sometime later in April.
