Oppo officially unveils the Watch X, its new smartwatch is a OnePlus Watch 2 under a different label.

As expected, Oppo has unveiled its new smartwatch, the Watch X, a close copy of the OnePlus Watch 2. Announced just a few days apart, the smartwatches look remarkably similar and even have the same specifications.
It's safe to say that the Oppo Watch X is a redesigned OnePlus Watch 2, although it's hard to say which was the original, since Oppo and OnePlus merged their respective research and development departments almost three years ago.

The only thing that will be different is the availability and, presumably, the price. The new Oppo Watch X will initially be released in several Asian countries, but will eventually become available worldwide.
The OnePlus Watch 2 is already available for pre-order in almost all European countries, as well as North America and some parts of Asia. Currently, both smartwatches are selling for around $300 / €300, but this may vary depending on the country.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo Watch X features a 1.43- inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and 2.5D sapphire protection . It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor , 2GB of RAM , and 32GB of storage .

The 500mAh battery promises to provide up to 48 hours of heavy use in smart mode, up to 100 hours of typical use in smart mode, or up to 12 days in power saving mode .
Oppo's new smartwatch supports NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi. It has built-in GPS and is certified for water and dust (MIL-STD-810H).
According to Oppo, its smartwatch only supports smartphones with Android 8.0 and above, which must also have a GMS (Google Mobile Services) version 23.45.23 and above.
3Unfortunately, Oppo Watch X does not support iOS and Android Go Edition devices .
