President Joe Biden sends a message to the right‑wing conspiracy theorists who were convinced that he manipulated the Super Bowl for the benefit of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.
Shortly after the Super Bowl ended on Sunday, Biden trolled his accusers, as well as Democrats. According to the conspiracy theory, Biden rigged the victory of the Kansas City Chiefs, where Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays tight end, in exchange for her support.
The article was based on a video posted by Biden's campaign on TikTok, where the president is asked directly if he "plans to rig the game so the Chiefs win the Super Bowl."
On January 29, former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy told Jack Posobiec, who promoted the Pizzagate conspiracy theory in 2016, that he wondered “which team is going to win the Super Bowl next month.”

While conspiracy theories about the Super Bowl being rigged are nothing new, the intense focus on Swift seems to be a manifestation of the anger that has largely engendered among conservatives in recent months, over her being a wealthy and powerful woman – something she has been for years – who goes to football games to support her beloved.

Swift has not announced who she will support in this year's presidential election — or even whether she will publicly reveal her choice — but backing Biden is a possibility. The pop star endorsed Biden in 2020, posting a selfie with specially made Biden-Harris cookies, and has previously criticized Trump for his handling of the COVID-19.
