BioWare has released the first 30-second teaser for the new – still untitled – follow-up to Mass Effect: Andromeda.
The teaser offers fans a first look at who might be returning to BioWare's new sci-fi role-playing game. During the N7 Day celebration, which honors the Mass Effect creators, BioWare released the teaser in several places. Among them are some "decoded" messages that may provide some clues about the teaser's content.
A teaser titled “Epsilon” (the fifth letter of the Greek alphabet, by the way!), features a quote attributed to Liara T'Soni — “ They should already know not to underestimate apathy towards humans !” — from last year's N7 Day. Another teaser references Oculon and 2819, the year the members of the Andromeda Initiative arrive at their destination in the Andromeda galaxy

Mike Gamble, the project director and executive producer of the new game , has stated that the next entry in the franchise will be a sequel to Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect: Andromeda and could span both galaxies. BioWare's recent teaser seems to confirm this, but it remains unknown who will be returning to the game - and whether Commander Shephard might make an appearance in the game's distant future after Andromeda.
The next Mass Effect was revealed in 2020. During that time, then-BioWare general manager Casey Hudson referred to a "veteran team" of developers working hard to shape the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe. In 2021, BioWare released a teaser that hinted at the return of the Geth.
BioWare's next project is Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, so Mass Effect fans can expect a lot of exciting experiences.
