Telegram recently introduced its Instagram-like Stories feature. Stories allow you to quickly share moments and see more from your friends – and they’re now available on Telegram. Stories appear in an expandable section at the top of your screen – so users can see the full length of your chat list and folders. When viewing a story, users can quickly tap to share, reply privately or react – tap for a quick “like” reaction or hold to use hundreds of more reactions.
Telegram Stories can capture photos or videos with the user's device's front and rear cameras simultaneously – allowing them to choose which camera to use, even when recording. Stories also use Telegram's media editor – allowing users to add text, drawings, stickers or tag their location. Stories also support captions – where users can include a longer text description, tag friends or add links. Users can also add multiple images from their gallery – or use search to find GIFs and images from the web. Stories can last for a user's choice of 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours.
So, if you also want to post a Telegram story, follow the steps below
- Open the Telegram app on your smartphone
- Now tap on the camera icon located in the bottom right corner of your screen
- After that, press the shutter button to take a photo or hold it to start recording video. Alternatively, swipe up to open your gallery and select a pre-existing photo or video.
- Once you're done, enter a caption in the subtitle field
- Now tap Next in the bottom right corner
- Finally, choose who can see your story, then tap the Post Story button
