Opera GX, the web browser for gamers, wants to revolutionize the browsing experience and introduce Aria, an advanced browser AI designed to help gamers with a wide range of tasks.

Based on Opera's Composer architecture, Aria goes beyond conventional AI capabilities, Opera said. Not only can it write code, but it also leverages real data from the web to provide updated answers and insights to users' questions.
With Aria, Opera GX users can now directly communicate with a friendly AI browser that keeps them up to date on the latest gaming news and offers helpful advice. Users can ask Aria anything from specific game-related questions, like the release status of Starfield, to broader questions about how to start a streaming career or to express their frustrations about game updates.
Aria can also customize character bios for games like Baldur's Gate or provide updates on the latest seasonal content in Diablo IV.
Opera GX users will also have access to a new command line feature, allowing them to use the keyboard shortcuts ctrl+/(Win) or cmd+/(Mac) to activate an overlay and interact with Aria. Using the command line, users can ask Aria questions directly and either engage with the AI in the sidebar or seamlessly return to browsing.

Aria integrates with Opera's AI Prompts feature, launched earlier this year, allowing users to highlight any text within the browser to generate contextual information and prompts, creating an interactive chat experience with their browser.
Standing out from other browser AI solutions, Aria offers users full control over their browsing experience. Users can choose to opt in by gaining access to the browser's artificial intelligence on the side panel and to log in or sign up for a free Opera account, if they don't already have one.
Aria is now available in over 180 countries and is available on Opera GX for Windows and macOS, as well as the mainstream Opera browser for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
To enable Aria in Opera GX, users must enable the “Early Bird” option in the settings, followed by enabling the “Aria Extension” and “Aria Command Line”. The use of Aria within Opera GX is free and only requires users to log in to their Opera account.
