Google Chrome is testing an option that lets users move the address bar to the bottom of the screen on iOS. This comes nearly two years after Safari's tab bar was moved to the bottom with Apple's iOS 15.

The Chrome change is currently in the testing phase in the Testlfight version of the app, as first added by iOS developer Steve Moser.
The change is optional, and users can change the address bar style via Settings > Address Bar in the beta version of Chrome. If people using the TestFlight version of Chrome can't see the Address Bar menu, they can do so by enabling the “chrome://flags/#bottom-omnibox-steady-state” flag.
Safari also allows users to change the tab position via Settings > Safari > Tabs, but the address bar at the bottom has been the default for two years.

The change in Chrome hasn't yet been implemented for all users, but it will be beneficial for those who use both browsers to have a consistent interface. Also, the address bars located at the bottom are more easily accessible on devices with large screens.
